Definition:

It is a process by which assembling information from the different types of accounts . it includes credit card accounts , household accounts, bank accounts etc.

Explanation:

In account aggregation all the accounts are linked with one another . The purpose behind linking of accounts is to provide a facility for the account holders. For example in the case of household accounts all the savings and brokerage accounts are linked . In this account the statements and online summaries shows all the accounts within the households . In the case of credit card accounts ,the linked accounts take place to a particular account . Account aggregation generally within a single institution while most of the assets held outside a financial institution and it may linked if their are fixed procedures available for doing so .
